INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

Learn how to paint silicone with master FX artist Tim Gore at the BLACK BOX FX studio! This two-day workshop includes intensive hands-on training of proper airbrush maintenance, usage and technique. 

Gore will teach you pro tips and tricks for mixing materials and colors. You’ll learn realistic as well as zombie airbrush techniques, suitable for film and great for your portfolio. You’ll also learn industry-level trauma techniques and several approaches to texturing, mottling and finishing realistic heads.

Paints, materials and expendables will be provided. The cost of the workshop also includes a silicone half head, a stunning portfolio piece for you to work on and keep!

Please note that this is not an introduction to airbrushing. Intermediate level and above is advised. Students need to bring their own airbrush and compressor.

Classes will be held at the BLACK BOX FX studio from Saturday, October 20, 2018 to Sunday, October 21, 2018 (with breaks for lunch on both days). Ample street parking is available nearby on Stagg Street.
